| Abstract | ||
Cardiospermum halicacabum Linn (SAPINDACEAE) roots and flower extracts were used to evaluate the antidiarrhoeal activity among varied animal models. Petroleum ether and alcoholic extracts were prepared with successive extraction in Soxhlet apparatus. Phytochemicals constituents like sterols, tannins,flavonoids and triterpenes were evaluated.
