Matuaism and the development of Namasudra community in Bengal

Abstract

At dawn of human civilization, we can see; there were present only one community as human. After that gradually creates lots of human society like Hinduism, Christianity, Jainism, Buddhism, Muslim etc. No one community grows up for only one reason; there also present many causes. Having united under the shelter of local religious ideal-doctrine for the investigation of communal status or honorable position some people have set up a separate community to get their social position, permanent identity in religious right and to find out the ways of living. To provide these things, first; a man with the name of Sri Sri Harichand Thakur has established a distinct religion for the present-day scheduled and backward caste. He has combined all types of like these people to show the ways of love, tolerance, gender equality and non-separation based on caste, religion and social status. In second part of 19th century and before the independence, there has been established a religion in localities of colonies of refugee rehabilitation of East- Bengal and outer part of Bengal and which had spread all over the India, Bangladesh and outer India.
