Hospitality Education in India & its impact on service sector

The main scope of the study is to understand & develop a role of the hospitality education in hospitality service industry producing employable & skilled candidates who will be a part of emerging fields of service industry. Today service sectors are embarking towards hi-tech interfaced products and facilities. Which are needs to be updated, perform & remain competitive in a highly unpredictably hospitality service industry, alumnus require an amalgamation of operational & supervisor skills and to evolve encouraging analytical thinking to uproot the required skill and knowledge into productivity and execution. In order to empower a supply of a skilled, knowledgeable as well as efficient work force for a service sectors. Management’s institutes in India should consider certain operational challenges faced by service industry & and its related industry & absorb the right kind and type of aptitude and develop the positive attitude in students. Numerous hospitality educational institutions have introduced management education programs to cater for the diverse requirements of the hospitality service industry in India. The present article has a two purpose: to analyze in the current status of hospitality education in India and to explore the challenges faced in service industry & take corrective measures in hospitality education.
