Financial Assessment of Profit on the basis of Milk Production on sample dairy farms in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh

A research was conducted at Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh in which financial assessment of profit on the basis of milk production on sample dairy farms have done. A total of five dairy farms situated in Saharanpur district were selected for study the profit of sample dairy farms was calculated on the basis of returns from the milk production cost formulas on the basis of variable cost, fixed cost, bank interest on fixed cost investment and imputed value of family labor was calculated. Each of the five dairy farms is rearing cows for milk production and unidentified breeds with H.F. and Brown Swiss breeds were present over all the dairy farms.
