Availability of Natural Resources in Bihar

Natural resources help in the economic development of the country and make it self-sufficient and independent in terms of raw materials and energy needs. India has a potential to convert its natural resources to national income and alleviating poverty and move on the path of national development. The natural resources are of two types: renewable resources and non-renewable resources. The country has also huge potential for renewable natural resources, especially solar power. The country has varied relief features providing rivers plains forests and different kinds of plants and animals. The state of Bihar, too, has a huge amount of natural resources whose proper utilisation can become a boon for the state.
