| Abstract | ||
NGOs play a crucial role in the prevention of HIV/AIDS and other communicable disease and they are working closely with people who engage in high-risk behaviour. “TNSACS’ (Tamil Nadu State AIDS Control Board) has funding NGOs, to create an effective network to create awareness and achieve changes in their behavior of AIDS affected persons. Tamil Nadu has evolved an open and transparent system that lends support to the activities of the NGOs. This paper highlights the different NGOs who involved in uplift and health care of AIDS and other communicable diseases in Tamil Nadu. |
