Worker’s Output through Rewards: A Study of Private Sector in Haryana

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between rewards and worker’s output in Textile Industry in Haryana. A survey was conducted in a Textile Mill located at Bhiwani District of Haryana to examine the relationship of rewards and Worker’s Output. A sample of 96 workers was taken. Structured questionnaire was used to collect the responses from the workers. The response rate was found 79 percent. Null hypothesis on relationship between rewards and worker’s output was tested at 0.05 per cent level of significance.  Regression and correlation analysis was used to test null hypothesis. Results showed that rewards have been seen strong determinant towards studying effect of rewards on output of the workers in textile industry. The performance increases with the increase in enhancing rewards. The variety of rewards affect worker’s output differently.
