Abstract

Ecofeminism tries to find ecology and feminism in one queue. It attempts to show the exploitation of the environment and women parallelly. It thinks that the Earth is one and that nature doesn't care about human limits. It says that sexism is one of the reasons why the Earth is being destroyed. Only values the "masculine" traits of control and winning and not the "feminine" traits of giving life and caring for others. In a conservative society, women and nature have always been seen as things. The environmental movement and the feminism movement are thought to work together because they both believe in a non-hierarchical system and believe that women and the earth are equal. Ecofeminism tells both men and women to think about the world in ways that don't put things in a hierarchy. The freedom of women and nature go hand in hand. Some ecofeminist writing attempts to explain the connection between women being tortured and damage to the environment by using the idea of social reproduction. Based on this understanding, various kinds of environmentalism have grown over time. Deep ecology is one of them. So, this paper focuses on Ecofeminism and the significance of deep ecology when people face an environmental crisis of deforestation due to their self-interest.
