Scientific Attitude and Academic Achievement of Students of Secondary Schools in Papumpare District of Arunachal Pradesh

Abstract

The paper intends to find out the significant relationship between scientific attitude of Private and Govt secondary school students and the correlation of academic achievement, scientific attitude and science achievement. For the study, a sample of 256 students from Government schools and private schools using Purposive sampling technique from 7 Govt, schools and 5 private secondary schools. The finding reveals that clear that private school students are slightly higher than Govt school students in their scientific attitude. The study also found that there is a relationship between achievement in science and academic achievement combined and scientific attitude of secondary level students in Papumpare District of Arunachal Pradesh.
