Abstract

Old age is that point of time in one’s life when we are physically weak and need support of someone. Working people retire at a certain age and after that they are left without any financial support. So, to help such people Government has taken initiatives to provide a certain amount of financial assistance for their old age medical treatments, etc. Though the amount paid is very less, yet that little money is snatched away from them by the middle-men or the members of their own family. This research paper had been taken forward to study the condition of those Old Women pensioners, who entirely depend on the pensions paid by the government of India to fulfill their daily needs. The amount which should be paid in the accounts every month is paid only twice or once a year. In this paper, we will scrutinize the answers critically received by the respondents to get an appropriate idea of the situation of the Old women.
