Role of Youth in Electoral Outcome: An Analysis

Abstract

According to 2011 census 70 percent of India’s populace is either 35 or in between 35-40. It suggests that the country is having ample young blood and human resources with an average age of 29 years. Youth power is significant and productive assets of any country. They can play pivotal role in shaping country’s economic and political image. In this context, the paper analyzes the responsibility and significance of youth in democratic process of electoral outcomes in the country.
