Polymers and Their Emerging Applications-A Review

Chemistry plays a big rolein the field of material science. It’s been found that materials are often the limiting think about bringing out new technology to practice and polymers are generally the materials of choice in these demanding applications. So far, the importance of polymeric materials hasbeen rather more accentuated thanks to their applications in numerous domains of science, technology, and industry. They indeed found diverse applications in many fields because they have distinct mechanical and chemical properties. The spectrum of polymer applications reflects the benefit of polymers concerningthe corrosion resistance, the low electrical and thermal conductivity, high strength to the weight ratio and a wide choice of colours. Many commercial products or the components therein are being product of a range of polymers. Further any new applications are being reported within the literature attributable to the continual developments within the polymer science.
