Parents Attitude on Education of Their Children with Special Reference To Socio- Economic Status and Academic Achievement

Education is one of the Vital process of life without which human race would be no velter thai animal. The concept of education is like a diamond which appears to be of a different colour when seen from different angle. It is a basic to civilization, social survival, reproduction, nutrition and for biological education. It starts at birth and ends at death. Hence education is a life long process. The concept itself is dynamic. Education always plays the role of social transmission too. It also plays the role of growth and development within the individual. It is the outcome process which deals with the individual and the society.
The problem of the present study is to find out the attitude of the parents towards education of their children in relation with their socio-economic status in the industrial town Digboi of Tinsukia District.
