Mathematical Modeling on Chikungunya with Latent Vector Population

Abstract

Chikungunya is a mosquito- borne disease previously conrmed in regions of central Africa. Eventually, this virus spread geographically in this century. We here developed a dynamical model for both human and vector. For both of them, their latent stages are taken into consideration we analyzed the model for disease free equilibrium. Also, we calculated the growth of the disease. Numerical simulations are done after using next generation mature method. Our results show that epidemic can be controlled if we smartly know the time when to intervene.
