Mathematical Analysis and Simulations of a Model with Latent Population

Abstract

In this paper, we analyzed a generic model with susceptible, latent, infected, and recovered population. It is a system of four non linear differential equations which are solved analytically and computationally. The techniques used to study the model are stability analysis, next generation matrix, and numerical simulations in Matlab. We calculated R0 and observed the effect of various parameters on the population dynamics.
