Abstract

The paper deals that Lahiri isn't quite an equivalent as alternative Indian students writing in English. The overwhelming majority of the Asian countries fiction students writing in English are formed and raised in India, in spite of the actual fact that the authors like Anita Desai, Kamala Markandaya, Jhabvala, Vikram Seth and Rushdie reside either in European nation or America usually, her association with Asian country may well be through her of us and grandparents. Thus her insight into Asian country can beyond any doubt be unbroken to the narratives from her grandparents, guardians, books and studies.
