The paper emphasizes the effect of internet on different processes and services in the library. Today the internet has revolutionized the conventional library practices viz material collection, digital preparation, dissemination, reference service, sharing of resources, distribution of documents, etc. Internet has become a must for the libraries in the new knowledge explosion world. It allows us enter the era of electronic media. Internet has been a resource for professionals in the library & information sector. |
