Information is facts about someone or something, which provides the answer to a question of some kind or resolves uncertainty. As per John Locke human beings are born with no information and their mind is blank slate or tabula rasa at the time of birth, which turned into a storehouse of knowledge as a result of information gained from experience, observation and perception. The process of learning starts right from the birth of a child and continues till the last breath. Thus, continuous learning for expansion of the base of knowledge has converted the societies into knowledge societies where knowledge is the means which everyone strives to capture and control. Knowledge has become a sharp sword with which everyone is trying to win the battle of life. Establishing the criticality of the knowledge and awareness in present scenario, students need to be well versed with the kind of prospective educational and career avenues available to him/her along with the knowledge of rights and duties.
