Abstract

Poverty is the burning issue of today’s world. The conceptual framework practiced worldwide is targeting only to reduce poverty level and increasing the economy. This may results to economy of any of the country can be balance after having minor changes in poverty. India is the country, where majority of population is associated with rural area. This research is carried out to understand the micro level study about rural poverty. This aims to understand the poverty level especially targeting to the BPL families of Ahmedabad district. The research is a primitive study by taking the survey of Ahmedabad district. The primary data for 300 BPL families are collected to understand the nature of poverty.
