The demand for Vidarbha Statehood was once very old and rose for the first time over 100 years ago. As a result, the Central Provinces legislature passed a decision to create a separate country of ‘Mahavidarbha’ on 1st October 1938 at Nagpur. This used to be over two decades before the advent of Maharashtra. However, on 1st May 1960 CE, the Vidarbha state was once merged with Maharashtra State under the agreement of the Nagpur Pact. The statehood interest for Vidarbha is incredibly old and even Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar was inclined in the direction of making such more unobtrusive states. The fundamental and first state Reorganization Commission was going by Fazal Ali way back in 1955 in Delhi to convince the Commission (on the issue), which later proposed the creation of the Vidarbha state. Also, the Finance Commission was ready to give grants to new States. The interest in a different Vidarbha state depends on intelligent thinking and isn't just an issue of territorial pride. Advancement issues, Inferiority complex buildings, the absence of industrialization, rancher sponsorships, and normal assets are key variables in the demand for Vidharbh statehood, and assets are factors that add to the interest. Vidharbh has been generally neglected by the public authority. Today’s framework underestimates Vidharbh inhabitants, and isn't doing what's needed to resolve the issues of Vidharbh. |
