Abstract

Aim: We aim to determine the safety and economically less cost effectiveness of a standard combined therapeutic acupuncture treatment package consists of Indian herbal medicine for the treatment of genetic basis infertility in a cross-section of women at integrative Sri Dhanvandhri Clinic, Puducherry, South India, Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with medication for infertility cases. Methods: Female participants were screened in accordance with age, the history and duration of infertility. Treatments should be completed after 6 menstrual cycles between February 2017 and April 2018. Results: One hundred and four (104) women with infertility were included in this observational study. 14 pregnancies out of 23 were achieved yielding a pregnancy rate of 60.9%. Conclusions: The standard therapeutic package for genetic basis infertility in women. A future study that includes effective combined therapy treatment solves Socio Economic problems for women in society and increases the rate of pregnancy.
