| Abstract | ||
The base of study was review of literature on the subject matter to determine the extent to which rewards can engage workforce in Indian organizations. The study used a theoretical approach and focused on how different authors perceived and dealt with the role that rewards played in keeping workforce. The interpretations were determined by considering the findings of multiple research articles. The study showed that rewards and their constituents such as compensation, benefits, recognition, work-life balance, career advancement and development opportunities have a favorable impact on workforce engagement. The workforce like to retain with those organizations having satisfied rewards policies. Moreover, there is a requirement for conducting more research to examine scope of rewards in workforce engagement in long term in Indian Organizations. |
