Diaspora and the Diasporic Sensibilities

The spate of migration during the present globalized world has led to a piquant situation for the migrant as they carry within themself multiple identities. This has led to many theorists trying to define this unique predicament of the migrant at the destination points. This paper looks at migration from the perspective of the migrant at destination point and tries to unknot the reality of the situation being faced by them. It attempts to situate and locate the diasporic sensibility within the larger canvas of Diaspora literature.
