This study attempts to evaluate Hirapur, Dhanbad's groundwater's water quality index (WQI). Groundwater samples were gathered, and they underwent complete physicochemical examination to ascertain this. The drinking water standard quality of 10,500 was followed in determining the WQI, which involved the following parameters: pH, EC, TDS & D.O. The groundwater's quality will become known to the inhabitants. Five samples in all were gathered in the Hirapur region from various locations. Over the monsoon season, five samples were gathered. This study reveals that pH values are within limits as per drinking water quality standards, and the dissolved oxygen rest parameter was high as per the permissible limit. |
