| Abstract | ||
This paper explores mental health of adolescents by reviewing various studies. It aims to bring under discussion the findings of existing literature on adolescent mental health and identify the various conceptual and methodological limitations of these studies. Furthermore, it also highlights the need for a culture-centric, anthropological approach to studying mental health. Overall, there is a need to apply a holistic approach to understanding adolescents' social and cultural dimensions of mental health. |
