Abstract

Oligodendroglioma are one of the prominent types of glial tumors arising from Oligodendrocytes. The prognostic implications for patients with such tumors are still unknown with varied survival ranges.
We analyzed approximately all the brain tumour patients between the year 2012 and 2019. Our aim of study was to find out the frequency of different types of Oligodendrogliomas in our population. Out of all Oligodendroglioma were 60(25%), oligoastrocytoma were 40 (16%), anaplastic oligoastrocytoma and anaplastic oligodendroglioma were 60(25%) ,80(33%) respectively. Concluding thereby that the frequency of Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma is very high among all the subtypes in our region.
