| Abstract | ||
The term Feminism refers to the sense of consciousness and awareness for their rights in females. It is a movement that gained potential in the 20th century and a struggle for cultural role, social-political rights, justice, and equal liberation for women in the society. It is a kind of philosophy stressing upon the enslavement, exploitation that has been clung women of the century. The occurrence of feminism in literature is a great blow for the patriarchal society because it was based on the principle of anti-feminist person Aristotle (Man is superior woman inferior), Darwin (woman biologically inferior), and Thomas Aquinas, St. Augustine (non-significant other). |
