Abstract

With the creation of Telangana state, demand of reorganization of states once again came from the various corners of states. In states like Maharastra demand of separate Vidarbha, in Uttar Pradesh Harit Pradesh, in West Bengal separate Gorkhaland and from other states also the demand of separate states rock the political elites. In similar ways the asymmetrical representation of states in compare to population in Loksabha also pave the way of debate of whether the strength of the Loksabha should be increased compare to rise in population specially, when the process new parliament (new building of parliament) is in progress. The study has done on the two major aspects of political system which is important as far as good governance and administration is concerned. The first aspect is increasing number of states and second is Loksabha seats. Both aspects are related to the increasing trends of population and the representation of states and people according the trends of census.
