| Abstract | ||
Entrepreneurship is considered to be an important input for rapid economic development. In developing economies it could play an effective role in coping with various socio-economic problems. Many developing regions do not suffer from resource constrains; rather the required skill is missing to convert the physical resources into the useful enterprises. The economic development of advanced countries of the world, to a large extent, has been attributed to growth of entrepreneurship in small and medium enterprises. In advanced countries, majority of small enterprises have been managed by women. Now a day‘s women are seeking economic opportunity and self determination through enterprise creation and are mentally prepared for getting the opportunities but for this they have to face a number of challenges for which they need financial and support of family. This study is based on the study of women entrepreneurs working in Bihar India. |
