| Abstract | ||
Since the very start of the quality movement, variation has been at its core. Quality initiatives that do not take variation into consideration are bound to fail in long run. Six Sigma concentrates on measuring product/service quality, reducing variation, driving improvements and saving the cost. Six Sigma implementation is spreading to many organizations the world over and success stories are increasing every day. In this paper, the author discuss the basics statistical concept of Six Sigma which make Six sigma different from other quality control techniques. |
