Abstract

Women empowerment is a much-discussed topic today; in various human rights and social developmental discourses. We all know and understand that participation of women in all our common day-to-day activities is important and unavoidable. In this paper, there is a detailed description of Panchayati Raj in Rewari District, Haryana. The main objective of this paper is to know how we can change the position of women in India. The female members at various positions in Rewari Panchayati Raj Institution are highlighted. The different research methodologies used in sociology are also discussed briefly.
