Abstract

The English language is a second language to most understudies in India. The significance of the English language to a specific dimension of capability is featured in the National Education Blueprint - 2015-2020. A large number of the understudies have a solid first language (L1) impact which ruins the procurement of the English language. The absence of introduction to the English language has brought about constrained vocabulary among understudies from provincial and semi-urban schools. This has driven them to be feeble in the English language. The utilization of "Energized Cartoons" by means of YouTube is acquainted with the build up their listening aptitudes and extend their vocabulary so as to ace the English language. Accordingly, the attention will be on 10 powerless capacity Form 1 understudy with a solid impact of the L1 foundation. Information was gathered dependent on pre and post-test score and a poll overview information were likewise gathered and investigated utilizing graphic measurement. The discoveries found that the utilization of 'Energized Cartoons" positively affected the students and expanded their obtaining of vocabulary and listening abilities.
