Enriching Speaking and Writing Skills through Bio-sketch

Abstract

This paper focuses on bio-sketch as a tool to enrich speaking and writing skills for the first generation regional medium students. It was an attempt to improve student motivation, build confidence and overcome fear to actively participate in classroom discussion. The key focus of the research was to arouse an interest and ensure that the learners enthusiastically participated in the English language classrooms. The result was satisfactory in enhancing not only the language skills of the learners but also in facilitating self-analysis.
