Abstract

The present paper is an endeavor to examine the growth patterns of exports and imports of India and also to expose the year-wise trends of the same. The paper is exclusively based on secondary data which were collected mainly from the Annual Reports of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India and from CMIE. A period of seven years was selected by the researchers for the purpose of the study and the data pertaining to the period have been transcribed into various tables and was analyzed with the help of various suitable statistical tools such as Mean, Standard Deviation, Percentage, CAGR etc. to draw the conclusions.
