Abstract

Internet, the most heard of word in the current era which now rules the world and its systems. It is the father of online business and the more it grows, the business grows simultaneously. Since payment mode is a challenge for this business, it has further resulted into many more innovative apps to reduce the cash transactions to a bare minimum, as these cannot be eliminated fully. However in our country people still prefer cash payments for lack of educations and trustworthiness of the companies involved in online business as well as product quality. There are also some security issues which tend to develop distrust among people for online bank transactions as there has been some news about hackers draining the money out of millions of account holders. At the same time with the increase in internet traffic slows down the speed and the transactions fail many a times, which lead to an irritating situation for the user. Hence we can derive that the lack of trust in mobile services, privacy issues, complexity of the system, lack of knowledge about banking systems and above all the habit of making cash payments are restricting consumers to adopt cashless payment mode which cause a barrier in the growth of online business.
