In order to find out the role of government sector for increasing the employment levels of women in India, I have tried to analyse few governmental policies and their expenditure from the gender budgets of 11 years (2004 to2015) of women employment. This study has divided into three segments where first segment represent the trend and pattern of the women employment expenditure. Secondly, find out the effectiveness of the women employment policies under gender budget in India and lastly, showed the impact of public policies on women employment in India by the using the regression analysis. |
