Abstract

The resources may be limited but human wants are unlimited, it is important for the market to utilize the natural resources efficiently without waste as well as to achieve the organization's objective. So the concept of green marketing becomes inevitable and the topic gathers momentum and is more relevant today. Worldwide evidence indicates that people are concerned about the environment and are also changing their behaviour. As a result of this, green marketing has emerged which speaks for the growing market for sustainable and socially responsible products and services to fulfil the needs of the market. Thus, there is a growing awareness among the consumers all over the world regarding protection of the environment in which they live today and tomorrow. Even the studies by environmentalists have been indicative that people are concerned about the environment. Nowadays all the consumers are becoming more and more concerned about environment-friendly products. Products free from Chemical toxins. After the mandate of CSR we find the emerging trend in Green marketing vibrant in the market. It has greater scope and our awareness is less about the concept.
